  • Interpreting Results

    The form will query the Domain Name database and will respond in 3 ways:-

    1. This name is not visible to the DNS.
    This means that the requested domain name is not being used. You probably can register the name if it meets the guidelines.

    2. This name is configured in the DNS:
    This means the the requested domain is in use.

    3. This name is not visible to the DNS.
    This name is pending in the AUNIC registry, awaiting the Domain Administrator's response to the request:
    This means that the name is not in use BUT a request has been made for the domain name and details of the request will appear at a later date.
